Southern Great Plains could run out of groundwater in 30 years, study finds

And this could be Michigan next if we allow the oil/gas companies to use 6-8 million gallons of fresh water per well!

REMEMBER – the oil companies are EXEMPT from The Clean Air Act, The Clean Water Act and several others….thanks to the “Haliburton Loophole”….which was pushed through Congress by none other than Dick Cheney under the George W. Bush administration.

I’m not trying to paint that administration or its members as “evil beings” but, Bush and Cheney both had (and probably still have) publicly known ties to big oil….

A new study looking at key aquifers beneath the Great Plains and California’s Central Valley suggests that areas of Texas and Kansas are drawing groundwater at an unsustainable rate.
