This sort of “journalism” is more than half the problem. When reporters and news anchors simply go with what Big Oil has to say (as is echoed by many in our State Departments) without doing proper research on their own…we get misinformation that we (the public) trust to be true. Shame on WOODTV8 for taking the easy way out and not doing their own research! When the lawsuits happen in Michigan (which they will if frac’ing is allowed) I hope those named in the lawsuits will include the news corporations who had the chance to do their jobs also and failed miserably.
There are far too many stories being circulated by far too many different people and medias for this to be bunk. Please, take a look at all the different stories that portray the disaster potential for horizontal hydraulic fracturing.
Finally! A piece of news footage that doesn’t sound like an advertisement for Big Oil!!! Can any other “news” agency spend a little time and $$$ actually REASEARCHING the truth about frac’ing rather than just reading what they’re paid to advertise????
What happened to the concept that “journalist’s are the watchdogs of America” ?????
